BOMBANANA!

Three monkeys, one bomb, and none of you can do it alone. One player is blind and can only touch the bomb. One is deaf and can only see it. One is mute and is the only one who can read the manual. Everything you need is in someone else’s head, and the timer does not care.

What is BOMBANANA!?

A three-player co-op bomb defusal game from Lefto Studio, a small team in Istanbul, published by TARK and released on September 2, 2026. Each player is handicapped differently — blind, deaf or mute — and the bomb can only be solved by pooling what the three of you can each perceive.

It is not really a puzzle game. The modules are the excuse; the actual challenge is building a shared vocabulary fast enough to beat a timer, while power outages and loud noises try to break it. The studio does not impose a callout system — working out how you communicate is the game.

Redeem Codes

None. BOMBANANA! has no redeem-code system. The “codes” players search for are room codes — short codes used to invite two friends into a lobby without adding each other on Steam.

BOMBANANA! FAQ

Short answers to what players search most. Every figure comes from Steam’s own data or Lefto Studio’s own announcements.

How many players does BOMBANANA! need?

Exactly 3. The store page says "No more, no less. Exactly three monkeys required," and the studio FAQ repeats it. There is no two-player or solo mode.

How many levels are there?

30 handcrafted campaign levels, confirmed in Lefto Studio's launch announcement. Endless mode generates waves on top of that.

Is BOMBANANA! free?

No. It is $7.99, currently $4.95 with a 38% launch discount. There was a free demo during Steam Next Fest — that has been taken down.

Are there redeem codes?

No. There is no redeem-code system. The "codes" players search for are room codes, used to invite two friends into a lobby without adding each other on Steam.

Does it work on Linux?

Two official sources disagree. Steam lists no native Linux build; the studio FAQ says Linux is supported. The likely explanation is Steam Deck, which runs Linux via Proton. We show both answers rather than picking one.

Is it on PS5, Xbox, mobile or Roblox?

Not yet. The studio FAQ confirms mobile and Roblox versions are in development, with console "in the near future." No dates have been given.

Do I need a microphone?

Two of the three roles do. The mute monkey does not — that role is not allowed to speak, so it is the seat for anyone without a headset.

How many achievements are there?

23 on Steam. The launch announcement says "16 New Achievements" — that is how many were added at launch, not the total.

Your First Bomb Is Going to Explode

That is fine. Learn the three roles, agree on what “left” means, and work one module at a time. Everything you need to start is in the how-to-play guide.
