BOMBANANA! Multiplayer — Lobbies, Room Codes and Crossplay

On this page
BOMBANANA! is multiplayer only, and it needs exactly three players.
Getting into a game
There are two routes, both added at launch:
Global Lobby Browser — browse public lobbies and join players from anywhere. You do not need to know anyone.
Room codes — a short code you share with two friends so they can join you directly, without needing to add each other as Steam friends first.
That second one matters for a search term you will see a lot: people looking for "bombanana codes" are almost always looking for room codes, not redeem codes. There is no redeem code system in this game.
Microphones
Two of the three roles need a microphone. The mute monkey does not — they are not allowed to speak anyway. If someone in your group has no headset, that is their seat. More on roles.
