BOMBANANA! on Mac — Supported, With Requirements

Yes, BOMBANANA! runs on Mac. Mac support arrived on 3 July 2026, ahead of the game's full launch, and the studio announced it in its own post.
Minimum requirements
| OS | macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later |
| Processor | Apple M1, or Intel Core i3 (6th gen or later) |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM |
| Graphics | Apple M1 integrated GPU / Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 or equivalent |
| Network | Broadband internet connection |
| Storage | 600 MB |
| Sound | Built-in audio is sufficient |
Apple Silicon is explicitly listed, so M-series Macs are covered rather than merely tolerated.
The bar is low by any modern standard. A 2016-era Intel Mac meets the minimum spec, and 600 MB is smaller than most phone apps.
Can Mac players play with Windows players?
Yes — you are all on Steam and on the same build. Use a room code and it does not matter which OS anyone is on.
A note on the microphone
Two of the three roles need a microphone. On a Mac, the built-in mic is fine — the requirements list built-in audio as sufficient. If you would rather not deal with it at all, take the mute monkey role, which does not need one.
To be confirmed: whether the Mac build is native Apple Silicon or runs through Rosetta on M-series chips. Steam lists M1 in the requirements but does not state which.
